Bright Light Digital recently installed five digital signs at the iconic Ishihara Market in Waimea on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. The new LG displays coupled with Android-powered media players replaced traditional letter board signs that were used for the store’s lunch, grill and platter menus. The digital signs are programmed to display lunch and quick service grill menus during certain hours of the day, with takeout platter menu items being displayed the rest of the time. A new display at the front of the store near the checkout area displays community events and activities, in addition to promoting take out platter menu items offered by the store.
